Title: Network Engineer
Location: Fort Meade, MD
Clearance: TS/SCI w/CI polygraph
Responsibilities:
- Plan, research, design, and model robust cloud-native web applications
- Acquire a complete understanding of a customer's technology and appropriate usage of cloud and container technology like AWS and Kubernetes
- Responsible for designing, creating, testing, and maintaining web front-end applications hosted in Cloud Service Providers
- Interact with the customer and team to gather and define requirements and prototype web applications using wireframing as well as system design tools
- Analyze requirements to determine the most effective web technologies to satisfy their needs
- Coordinate the creation and collection of necessary technology components and integrate them into a coherent web application design
- Follow a formal Agile-based design process
- Design and develop visually pleasing, content-rich, user-friendly interfaces with intuitive navigation
- Deliver comprehensive web application solutions to satisfy customer requirements and maintain configuration management
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree required, with a minimum of 7 years of related work experience; an additional 4 years of work experience may be substituted instead of a degree
- Relevant certifications, such as CCIE, CCNP, or JNCIE
- Knowledge in a variety of networking technologies and protocols including LAN, WAN, wireless, data center networking, and network security
- Strong understanding of federal government security requirements, including FISMA and NIST guidelines
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills
- Current active TS/SCI w/ CI polygraph required
