In this position you will....
be responsible for supporting the Finance team member to manage the financial reporting process, the proper accounting and booking of insurance and non-insurance related transactions, accruals, estimates, etc.
You will be responsible for…
- Managing the month-end financial closing and the submission of local statutory and Group reporting.
- Ensuring month/quarter/year-end closing and reporting are completed accurately and on time.
- Providing insights to enhance the month-end closing workflow and accounting policies.
- Collaboration and coordination with other Finance team members to support business operation.
- Partnering with other team members to ensure efficient and quality workflow process.
- Ensuring compliance of internal process controls, statutory and tax requirements.
- Supporting implementation of specific projects.
- Other ad-hoc duties as assigned.

You will require the following qualifications and skills
- Degree or equivalent in Accounting/Finance, preferably with CPA qualification
- Minimum 3 years of experience in financial and management reporting from insurance companies or insurance brokerage firms,.
- Knowledge/experience of insurance industry is strongly preferable.
- Sound knowledge in local regulations, tax and accounting standards, especially IFRS 17 and RBC.
- Familiarize with accounting system, experience in Oracle would be an advantage.
- Good command of written English and Chinese. Fluent in spoken Cantonese.
- Advanced level of MS Excel skill. Experience in VBA is preferred.
