Project Cybersecurity Manager in Katowice

At Alstom, we build what millions depend on daily - rail transportation systems that can't afford to fail. We're more than 85,000 people worldwide creating the industry's most diverse portfolio: high-speed trains, metros, trams, maintenance services and integrated systems.

More than a job: a mission

Cybersecurity in rail is still evolving. That's what makes this role different.

We're looking for a Project Cybersecurity Manager who will help drive cybersecurity compliance across our transportation projects. You'll work across engineering, project and cybersecurity teams, ensuring requirements are understood, documented and implemented throughout the project lifecycle.

You'll join a team that values ownership, collaboration and clear communication. Because cybersecurity isn't only about standards. It's about helping people work together to deliver secure solutions that move millions every day.

Your role, your impact

  • Drive cybersecurity compliance activities across railway projects.
  • Ensure alignment with cybersecurity requirements, including IEC 62443, CRA and NIS/NIS2.
  • Coordinate cybersecurity documentation, compliance evidence and audit readiness.
  • Partner with engineering and project teams to translate requirements into practical actions.
  • Identify risks, propose solutions and drive cybersecurity topics through to completion.

You'll work with teams across functions and countries, helping transform cybersecurity requirements into practical actions that support safe and reliable transportation systems.

What you bring

  • Experience in cybersecurity, compliance, governance or project environments.
  • Knowledge of IEC 62443, CRA and NIS/NIS2 requirements.
  • Ability to work independently, take ownership and manage priorities effectively.
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to build alignment, bring clarity to complex topics and drive cooperation across teams.
  • Fluent English and confidence working across international teams.

Nice to have

  • Hands-on exposure to Operational Technology (OT), industrial control systems or industrial devices.
  • Experience in railway, transportation, manufacturing, energy or other critical infrastructure sectors.
  • Familiarity with ISO 27001, NIST or similar cybersecurity frameworks.

How success is measured

  • Delivery of cybersecurity compliance activities within project timelines.
  • High-quality documentation supporting audits and assessments.
  • Effective collaboration across engineering, project and cybersecurity teams.
  • Successful implementation of cybersecurity requirements and standards.
  • Positive stakeholder feedback regarding communication, ownership and problem solving.

Alstom, a great place to grow

Cybersecurity in rail is still being defined, and you'll have the opportunity to shape it with us.

  • Contribute to projects that have a real impact on critical transportation infrastructure.
  • Help strengthen cybersecurity practices across the rail industry.
  • Collaborate with experts from engineering, cybersecurity and project management in a global environment.
  • Grow through complex challenges where no two projects are the same.
  • Be part of a team that values ownership, accountability and collaboration.

The challenges are real. The scale is massive. And the impact lasts for decades.

At Alstom Poland, we're helping shape the future of railway cybersecurity. We're building standards, strengthening resilience and creating solutions that will influence the industry for years to come.

Because when the system runs, the train moves, and the city connects, your work helps make that possible.

Realise the power of rail.
