ABOUT THE TEAM
You'll join Unzer's newly structured Chief Product & AI Officer (CPAIO) organization, part of a wider shift to build our product function AI-first from the ground up. Within that structure, you'll take full ownership of Alternative Payment Methods (APM), one of the core product areas within UnzerOne PSP Services. It's a chance to shape a growing product area early, with real autonomy and a direct line into how the new organization defines what "AI-first" means in practice.

What your work will look like:
- You'll own and shape the APM product roadmap — grounded in market analysis, merchant needs, and a clear business case for what to prioritize
- You'll turn validated ideas into product specifications, user stories, and acceptance criteria, and keep the backlog groomed and on track
- You'll track key metrics to measure roadmap impact, and assess the impact of reported production issues to prioritize fixes
- You'll present and defend roadmap decisions to senior stakeholders, and drive cross-functional collaboration with sales, engineering, and other product teams
- You'll use AI tools to speed up research, specs, and other repetitive parts of the job
What you need to be successful in this role:
- You have 5+ years of experience as a Product Owner, Business Analyst, or in a similar product management role
- You understand the business side of payments — market dynamics, merchant needs, and building the case for what to prioritize — and you're curious to learn the technical side too; hands-on software/web experience is a plus, not a must
- You take a data-driven approach, using metrics and AI tools to validate decisions, speed up your work, and measure impact
- You're confident presenting to and influencing senior stakeholders
- You're a strong problem-solver with a solution-oriented mindset, comfortable working with APIs and tools like Postman
- You communicate clearly, both in writing and in conversation
Please note that we will not sponsor your visa or relocation, and you must have a valid work permit to be eligible for this position.
