Overview

JST is currently seeking a Business Analyst to support our team. The BA will support stakeholder engagement, requirement development, and scrum facilitation while leading the user testing process. The Business Analyst will work with an integrated, agile team and will be provided the opportunity to learn a diverse array of business analyst skills including user acceptance testing, functional requirements development, and agile scrum management.

Business Analyst Responsibilities

  • Constructing test plans and test scripts as well as perform application testing
  • Using analytical tools to create reports and prepare user documentation
  • Facilitating and developing functional design documents
  • Supporting and facilitating scrum activities
  • Developing work instructions and training documentation
  • Leading demonstrations of new functionality in the application
  • Troubleshooting user feedback

Business Analyst Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business, or related field
  • 5+ years of experience supporting requirement development, user acceptance testing, and/or scrum facilitation
  • Ability to obtain a security clearance
  • Ability to travel to client site (San Antonio) between 4 to 6 times a year
  • Desire to learn an expanding application from the front and back-end perspective
  • Willingness to engage with key stakeholders in virtual and in person settings
  • Detail orientated with strong communication skills

Desired Qualifications

  • Certified Scrum Master
  • Experience with best practices in the development of user acceptance testing
  • Experience engaging with and providing feedback to software developers during testing
  • Worked as part of an agile team
  • Experience with data integration tools such as PowerBI and Tableau
  • Experience with federal government Asset Management practices and process; specifically with the Air Force is a plus

Required Clearances and Screenings

  • MUST be able to successfully pass a drug and background check
  • Due to the nature of the contract work, you must be a US Citizen
