Job DetailsLevel: ExperiencedPosition Type: Full TimeFirst United Bank is accepting applications for a Full Time Teller / Retail Service Representative in our Haskell Banking Center.

 

Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities:  

Processes financial transactions promptly and accurately Open or close appropriate retail accounts and IRA's, and maintain all associated records Rent safe deposit boxes to customers, permit customers access to boxes with maximum protection and maintain records of safe deposit boxes and renters   Update customer records as needed Handle check orders Prioritizes client needs and provides exceptional customer service Communicates professionally with all clients and colleagues Upholds understanding of all banking products and services, along with company systems and procedures Participates in job specific training, various bank training programs, and complies with BSA, AML and all bank policies and procedures as required Other duties as assigned QualificationsMinimum Qualifications:  

A self-starting team player with high school diploma or GED Prior Teller or New Accounts experience preferred Ability to maintain high level of confidentiality is required Computer proficiency and familiarity with Microsoft programs Strong written and oral communication skills are necessary Must be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with handling frequent interruptions and little to no supervision Must be able to handle the physical aspects of the job, which include standing for portions of the day and maneuvering weight up to 60 pounds Courteous, professional demeanor along with ability to handle multi-tasks is essential Commitment to providing exceptional customer service is required  Knowledge in bank regulations, policies and procedures preferred Must be able to work flexible hours and/or extended hours as business requires
