Job Description
- Conduct routine security site walks across Data Halls, Storage Rooms, and Office Spaces to validate:
- Door and badge reader functionality
- Security device status (e.g., cameras, sensors)
- Identify and report:
- Security incidents
- Safety hazards
- Hardware anomalies or malfunctions
- Bring in vendors during projects such as:
- Camera or badge reader installs
- Physical security retrofits
- Support critical security events (e.g., destruction events, media anomalies) as directed
- Maintain accurate daily status reports
- Attend regular team meetings and briefings
- Comply with PPE requirements and non-disclosure agreements
- Participate in access control onboarding and provide presence in leased spaces
Requirements:
- Diploma holder
- 2 years of relevant on-site working experience
- Familiarity with Data Centre operations or COLO environments
- Clear, accurate report writing and data entry skills
- Ability to work flexible shifts and travel between sites as needed
- Strong situational awareness and adherence to safety/security protocols
