About the role

The Senior Network Engineer will provide advanced diagnostics, perform root-cause analysis, and manage firmware and software maintenance for the system. They are also responsible for maintaining design documentation, mentoring staff, and leading network design-level troubleshooting and capacity planning.

Requirements

Candidates must possess 7 or more years of hands-on experience in a comparable environment and hold Aruba (ACMP/ACEP) or Cisco (CCNP) certifications. An ITIL Foundation certification is also required to support the technical and operational demands of the role.

Full description

· Provide advanced diagnostics at system, application and infrastructure level for the system.

· Carry out root-cause analysis for major and recurring incidents and own the permanent fix.

· Open and manage OEM back-to-back support cases under the same ticket and SLA clock.

· Own configuration, firmware and software maintenance and coordinate manufacturer releases and upgrades.

· Own the preventive-maintenance procedures and predictive monitoring for the system.

· Maintain the design documents, SOPs and knowledge base; mentor and sign off Level-2 competence.

· Provide technical assessment to the Change Advisory Board for changes to the system.

· Own network design-level troubleshooting, firmware strategy, capacity and major change; lead Aruba/HPE back-to-back.

Requirements

Qualifications & certifications

· Aruba (ACMP/ACEP) and/or Cisco (CCNP) certification; senior network engineering.

· ITIL Foundation.

Experience. 7 or more years hands-on with the specific system in a comparable environment.
