IT Project Manager
Location: Can work remotely in the domestic United States
Schedule: Regular business hours are 8:00am to 5:00pm Monday through Friday, must be able to work after hours and on weekends as needed.
Salary: $95,000 to $120,000 annually, dependent on experience

DAY TO DAY
- Develop and maintain deliverables related to project management such as charter, requirements, business case, risk assessment, schedule, project organization chart, etc.
- Manage project resources, schedule and budget.
- Manage project change, incident & risks. Coordinate project tasks & activities through all phases of development and deployment. Transition project into steady state maintenance. Ensure deliverables meet project schedule, objective and quality. Obtain approvals from all stakeholders.
- Monitor project progress. Report status and identify and resolve risks that impact project completion. Escalate unresolved issues to senior management.
- Adjust resources as necessary to ensure project success and completion. Provide work direction and feedback to all team members and assist them in issue resolution. Provide guidance to team members on administrative and technical problems. Assist in staffing activities related to project.
- Develop new processes as necessary to ensure critical systems are completed; provide expertise in identifying appropriate methodologies development efforts.
- Support and enhance efforts to streamline organizational project management
- Review, implement and recommend tools to effectively manage project and organizational project portfolio
WHAT YOU MUST POSSESS
Must Have:
- Bachelor’s degree in a business-related field or equivalent work experience required.
- Minimum five years managing IT projects.
- Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office application and Microsoft Project. Visio experience preferred. Good understanding of current and emerging technology platforms for IT applications, infrastructure & information management and Systems Development Life Cycle (SDLC) process.
- Proven ability to work within expected guidelines under limited supervision
- Demonstrated experience with implementations and data transfers
- Creative problem resolution skills. Excellent project management skills. Good quantitative and qualitative skills.
- Software application knowledge (troubleshooting) and working closely with software developers preferred
- Strong analytical, problem solving and follow-up abilities
- Effective time management and organizational skills a must
- Strong follow-up skills. Good understanding of IT audit requirements for SOX, PCI DSS, NIST, HIPAA and other government regulations. Good understanding of disaster recovery and business continuity.
- Ability to work Mon-Fri from 8am-5pm and flexibility to work outside these hours when needed
Nice to Have:
- Project management training/certification a plus - Certified Associate in Project Management (CAPM), Project Management Professional (PMP) Project Management or Comp TIA Project + preferred. Detail-oriented with the ability to organize and prioritize multi-task.
- Collections experience, specifically with CUBS collection application a plus
