Full description

Description

Jet Parts Engineering is bringing its operating companies onto a single Salesforce-based ERP, running operations (MRO, inventory, and work orders) and accounting as managed packages, with planned manufacturing ERP expansion. The Salesforce Platform Administrator will be the in-house owner of this multi-company environment: the first point of contact for users, the steward of data quality, and the person who keeps the platform stable, well configured, and improving as more companies come online. This role joins the JPE Business Intelligence team and partners closely with accounting and operations managers across our companies. On-site at one of our locations in Seattle, WA or Hauppauge, NY.

Requirements

Serve as the primary point of contact for Salesforce administration, user support, and troubleshooting across all JPE companies on the platform.

· Manage users, profiles, permission sets, roles, and sharing; provision and deactivate users and licenses.

· Maintain and improve configuration using declarative tools: page layouts, Lightning pages, fields, picklists, validation rules, and Flow.

· Partner with users and managers to gather requirements and translate process needs into configuration that improves their workflows.

· Own day-to-day data quality: duplicate management, validation rules, required-field standards, and data-quality reporting; coach users on correct process and data entry.

· Perform data management, including bulk data loads, updates, and cleanup using Data Loader, Salesforce Inspector, or similar tools.

· Manage releases and sandboxes: test and deploy changes through sandbox environments with documented change control; test and coordinate managed-package upgrades (AvSight, Accounting Seed) and seasonal Salesforce releases, and communicate changes to users.

· Support ERP migrations as additional companies move onto the platform: data mapping, cleanup, load validation, user acceptance testing, and cutover coordination.

· Build and maintain operational reports, list views, and dashboards in Salesforce.

· Serve as day-to-day contact for application vendors and implementation partners: support tickets, release coordination, and follow-up.

· Support SOX and audit requirements for the Salesforce environment, including user access reviews and change documentation.

· Drive user adoption: build and maintain process and instructional documentation, and equip company power users to train their teams.

· Other duties as assigned.

Experience & Skills Required:

· 3+ years administering Salesforce or a comparable business system, including at least 2 years of hands-on Salesforce administration.

· Strong declarative skills: Flow, validation rules, formulas, the security and sharing model, and reports and dashboards.

· Experience with bulk data tools and data migration.

· Clear communicator with non-technical users, from the shop floor to accounting.

· Organized; able to manage and prioritize requests across multiple companies.

Preferred:

· Salesforce Certified Platform Administrator (formerly Administrator); if not certified, obtain within 6 months of hire (company-supported).

· Salesforce Platform Administrator II or Platform App Builder certification.

· Experience with AvSight, Accounting Seed, or other Salesforce-native ERP packages (strong plus).

· Working knowledge of inventory, work-order, and accounting processes (AP/AR, GL).

· Experience in aviation, MRO, manufacturing, PMA, or distribution environments.

· Experience in a SOX-regulated or audited environment.

· Interest in applying AI tools, including Salesforce Agentforce, to administration and user workflows.

· Familiarity with Apex or Lightning Web Components.

Education

· Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Compensation and Benefits

· Salaried position commensurate with experience level and skill level and/or certifications. Salary range between $80K-$120K

· We offer medical, dental, vision, life and other insurance options; 401k with 100% match on first 4%; full time workers get paid holidays, vacation & sick/personal leave accrued on hire date.
