Your Impact
As a Technical Business Analyst within OpenText Financial Services, you will play a key role in delivering and supporting business-critical solutions used by major financial institutions around the world. Acting as the bridge between business requirements and technical delivery, you will help ensure complex financial services applications are designed, implemented, and supported to the highest standards.
Working closely with Business Analysts, Development, QA, Support, and clients, you will analyze requirements, define technical solutions, troubleshoot complex production issues, and contribute across the full solution lifecycle. Your expertise will help drive reliable, high-quality outcomes for clients operating in highly regulated and demanding financial environments.
What the Role Offers
- Translate business and functional requirements into detailed technical specifications, user stories, process flows, and acceptance criteria.
- Collaborate closely with Business Analysts, Development, QA, Support teams, and clients to deliver complex financial services solutions.
- Analyze application behavior, business rules, integrations, and system impacts to support solution design and delivery.
- Provide Level 3 production support, investigating complex incidents, identifying root causes, and driving long-term improvements.
- Participate in client discussions, technical investigations, and knowledge-transfer sessions across globally distributed teams.
- Build deep expertise in OpenText Financial Hub solutions while contributing to continuous improvement of delivery, support, and documentation standards.
What You Need to Succeed
- 5+ years of experience as a Business Analyst, Technical Business Analyst, or similar role within financial services, banking, FinTech, or other complex software environments.
- Strong ability to analyze business requirements and translate them into detailed technical documentation, workflows, business rules, and acceptance criteria.
- Experience providing Level 3 application support and troubleshooting complex production issues across enterprise applications.
- Strong understanding of software development lifecycles, system integrations, APIs, databases, and application architecture.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
- Experience working in Agile environments; exposure to financial messaging, payments, SWIFT, ISO 20022, SQL, XML/JSON, or financial services platforms is highly desirable.
