Job Summary We're looking for a QA Automation Engineer who's hands-on with Playwright and passionate about quality. You'll build automation frameworks, work closely with development and product teams, and help deliver reliable, high-quality software.

What You Will Do

  • Build and maintain automation frameworks and scripts using Playwright and Cucumber (BDD)
  • Design, execute, and maintain regression and end-to-end test suites
  • Automate API tests covering functional, edge-case, and negative scenarios
  • Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines
  • Leverage GitHub Copilot or similar AI tools to improve productivity and test coverage
  • Report defects clearly and collaborate across Development, QA, and Product teams
  • Contribute to automation best practices and quality initiatives

What We Are Looking For

  • 6+ years of QA Automation experience
  • Strong hands-on experience with Playwright
  • Experience with Cucumber (BDD) and automation framework development
  • Proficiency in JavaScript or TypeScript
  • Strong understanding of Page Object Model (POM) and test automation design patterns
  • Strong experience in REST API testing
  • Familiarity with Postman/SoapUI and authentication mechanisms such as OAuth and JWT
  • Experience with Git, Agile/Scrum methodologies, and CI/CD practices
  • Comfortable using AI coding assistants such as GitHub Copilot

Nice to Have

  • Exposure to WebdriverIO
  • CI/CD tools: Jenkins, Azure DevOps, or GitHub Actions
  • Test reporting tools: Allure or HTML Reports
  • Exposure to performance, accessibility, or load testing tools such as JMeter or K6
  • Basic SQL knowledge
  • Experience working with cloud-native and microservices-based applications

Education

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field.
