POSITION SPECIFICS
Penn State Berks (Reading, PA) invites applications for a tenure-track position at the rank of Assistant Professor of Cybersecurity, beginning August 2027. JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
Responsibilities include teaching courses in Cybersecurity Forensics, Incident Response, and Software Security. It is anticipated that a new Artificial Intelligence major will be available at PSU Berks College in the next few years and that a successful candidate will be able to teach a course in this program as well. Having some formal background in AI is therefore desirable for applicants. This position carries a teaching load of nine contact hours (approximately three courses) per semester.
The successful candidate will conduct robust research that leads to publications in scholarly journals, will advise students and will provide service to the program, division, college, community, and profession. REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
Applicants are required to have a doctorate in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, or a closely related field with a focus on Cybersecurity by August 15, 2027.
SCHEDULE:
