Java Backend Developer

This is your mission

Are you passionate about backend development, data management, and building scalable applications? Then this role is for you.

As a Java Backend Developer, you will contribute to the evolution of an application managing financial statements referential data. You will be responsible for designing backend solutions, ensuring data exposure, and supporting the delivery of high-quality and scalable applications.

Build side:

• Design, secure and scale backend architectures.

• Develop backend solutions using Java 21 and the Spring framework.

• Implement data exposure solutions through APIs.

• Work with PostgreSQL and advanced SQL queries.

• Industrialize solutions according to CI/CD and software development best practices.

• Apply microservices architecture, unit testing and versioning practices.

• Participate in Agile development activities using tools such as Jira, Confluence and ALM.

Run side:

• Participate in the validation phase with end users.

• Support the understanding and translation of functional requirements into technical solutions.

• Contribute to maintaining application quality, consistency and reliability.

• Collaborate with business and technical stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle.

• Support continuous improvement and evolution of the application.

• Ensure attention to detail and quality in delivered solutions.

This is your career path

You have 1 to 3 years of experience as a Software Engineer. You are comfortable working in a hybrid role combining technical development and business understanding.

Experience with third-party data and data governance or data management is considered a plus.
