We seek talented, passionate, and committed engineers, technologists, and business leaders to join us.
Job Summary:
We are seeking a commercially driven and results-oriented leader to drive the growth of our Datacenter Building Block Solutions (DCBBS) within the Taiwan region and beyond. In this senior management role, you will act as the critical bridge between business development and product strategy—taking ownership of major design wins and strategic deal closures while aligning product capabilities with market demand. You will combine strong technical expertise with sharp commercial instincts to architect winning customer solutions and convert them into measurable revenue outcomes. This role includes direct people management responsibilities.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Lead Commercial Execution & Regional Market Penetration: Drive the adoption and revenue growth of the DCBBS portfolio, with a primary focus on the Taiwan market and strategic Asia-Pacific accounts. Lead the end-to-end pursuit and closure of complex, high-value deals with enterprise and hyperscale customers, while actively building a robust pipeline for net-new logo acquisition.
- Drive End-to-End Solution Development for Deal Closure: Translate customer workload requirements (AI/HPC, cloud, etc.) into compelling, customized DCBBS proposals. Take ownership of total solution architecture—including GPU platforms, power/cooling configurations, and cluster design—to secure competitive bids and ensure long-term design wins.
- Execute and Contribute to Market-Backed Product Strategy: Partner with senior leadership to define and execute the product roadmap based on direct field intelligence, competitive analysis, and customer feedback. Prioritize product initiatives that deliver immediate competitive advantages and directly address real-world data center infrastructure challenges.
- Cultivate & Manage Strategic Customer Relationships: Build and maintain executive-level relationships with key decision-makers at target accounts and ecosystem partners in Taiwan. Act as a trusted technical and commercial advisor, influencing long-term infrastructure investment plans and positioning Supermicro as the preferred integrated solutions provider.
- Champion Cross-Functional GTM Execution: Orchestrate and align Engineering, Sales, Rack Integration, and Sales Engineering teams to ensure seamless execution of strategic deals—from initial qualification through to final delivery—while ensuring product development stays tightly coupled with market demands.
- Build, Mentor, and Scale the Team: Hire, coach, and develop a high-performing product management and business development team. Foster a culture of commercial ownership, technical excellence, and continuous improvement, ensuring the team meets aggressive revenue and market-share goals.
Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Business Administration, or a related technical field. An MBA or advanced degree is a strong plus.
- Experience:
- 10+ years of progressive experience in a hybrid business development, technical sales, or strategic account management role within data center and AI infrastructure.
- Hands-on experience and deep technical knowledge of data center infrastructure (power, cooling, rack integration) is preferred.
- Comprehensive expertise in AI/HPC server architecture, key technologies (GPU platforms, InfiniBand, high-speed networking), and associated workload requirements is required.
- Skills:
- Strong commercial negotiation and executive presentation skills, with the ability to clearly articulate business value and craft winning proposals.
- Adept at leveraging market data, competitive intelligence, and customer insights to influence both product direction and sales motions.
- Proven people management and team-development capabilities, with a track record of fostering high-performance culture.
- Additional Requirement: Fluency in Mandarin and English is highly preferred, given the Taiwan-based nature of this role and its regional customer focus.
