YOUR ROLE

As a IT Business Analyst, you will be part of our Banking and Capital Markets Practice and will join one of our projects settled in a financial environment. You will be responsible for the development of existing business applications created according to the individual needs of customers. You will work in an international team based on agile methodologies and a professional Software Delivery Life Cycle development process.

YOUR TASKS

  • coordinate software development process in each phase of software development lifecycle;
  • negotiate with different departments from the client during business requirements analysis process;
  • act as financial domain expert on behalf of a scrum team, act as a main contact point for business stakeholders;
  • work closely with IT developers, architect, quality assurance SME, product owner - on a daily basis;
  • bridge the gap between business and development team by translating business needs into technical requirements as well as explaining technical solutions to the business stakeholders;
  • facilitate refinement sessions, workshops, discovery sessions, and stakeholder interviews to gather and validate requirements;
  • create high-quality user stories, business and functional specification with clear and testable acceptance criteria;
  • constant cooperation, partnering with others to create, coordinate and execute on test plans: quality assurance testing (QA) and user acceptance testing (UAT);
  • analyze and document data flows, data mappings;
  • negotiate with different departments from the client during business requirements analysis process.

YOUR PROFILE

  • extensive experience as Business Analyst;
  • ability to translate complex business requirements into technical documentation;
  • experience in collaboration with technologists to drive delivery within an Agile framework;
  • knowledge of BPMN, UML notations, experience with tools to create mockups;
  • ability to prepare clear and understandable business documentation (user stories, high level features + tools knowledge ex. Jira / Confluence;
  • ability to conduct as-is and to-be impact analysis;
  • fluency in English (min. B2);
  • bachelor's degree in a finance-related and analytical field.

Nice to have:

  • leadership skills or previous experience in product ownership experience;
  • financial Domain knowledge (Banking, Capital Markets, Payments, Trading) to Act as SME to senior stakeholders and /or other team members.
