Data Analytics Intern
As a Data Analytics Intern at Modern Woodmen, you’ll help turn data into meaningful insights that support business decisions and strengthen the way we serve our members. You’ll gain hands-on experience with analytics, reporting and process improvement projects while learning how data supports decision making in a member focused financial services organization.
Modern Woodmen of America is one of the nation’s largest fraternal benefit societies, with assets over $18 billion. Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with team members on process improvement initiatives and special projects.
- Gain exposure to a variety of disciplines through meetings, events, and cross-functional partnerships.
- Conduct research on trends and best practices.
What we need:
- Student pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Data Analytics or related field.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Excellent organizational and time-management abilities.
- Attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Teams.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and work both independently and collaboratively.
- Curiosity, initiative, and a desire to learn.
What we offer:
- Internship program information: Modern Woodmen’s summer internships are ideal for current college students interested in exploring the financial services industry. The program offers an opportunity for students to gain real-life work experience related to their studies while connecting with a mentor in their field.
- Pay: The hourly pay for this position is $20.00. The specific rate will depend on the successful candidate’s qualifications and prior experience. Applicants must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for current or future employment-based sponsorship. We are unable to sponsor or take over sponsorship of employment visas at this time, nor can we guarantee future sponsorship.
- Work Arrangements: This is a full-time, 11-week office focused, summer internship position: 37.5 hours per week (7.5 hours per day), Monday- Friday, with flexible start time between 7 a.m.-9 a.m. Office focused positions work on-site due to the nature of the work and have limited remote days.
