What You Will Do
- Perform analysis on cybersecurity collected data and test results
- Create patch artifacts such as patch media and information assurance posture reports; run regression tests on the system
- Validate secure configuration of routers, switches, firewalls, servers, operating systems, applications, and other assets, using DoD approved scanning and assessment tools such as Nessus, STIG, Evaluate STIG, and/or RADIX.
- Create and maintain Linux Bash and Python scripts
Qualifications You Must Have:
- Master’s degree in Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering or related Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM) major.
Qualifications We Prefer:
- Prior RTX internship, co-op, or work experience with systems security engineering.
- Minimum 3.00 cumulative GPA
- Experience with Linux Bash and Python scripting
- Basic understanding of the systems engineering process
- Current/Active DoD security clearance or SSBI.

- Onsite: Employees who are working in Onsite roles will work primarily onsite. This includes all production and maintenance employees, as they are essential to the development of our products.

The salary range for this role is 68,900 USD - 131,100 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.

Payments under these annual programs are not guaranteed and are dependent upon a variety of factors including, but not limited to, individual performance, business unit performance, and/or the company’s performance.
