We are actively seeking an Associate Business Analyst. This is a remote role based in Brazil.
Position Summary
This role is an Associate Business Analyst within the Global Product Delivery organization, supporting SAP and Oracle E-Business Suite (EBS) solutions. The primary responsibility of this position is to assist with analyzing and translating business, tax, legal, and regulatory requirements into clear functional requirements that support compliant, high-quality ERP updates.
The Associate Business Analyst works closely with Global Tax & Regulatory, Product Management, Development, and QA teams to support requirements analysis, functional documentation, testing, and delivery activities. This role provides an opportunity to build deeper SAP or Oracle EBS expertise while contributing across the solution lifecycle, from initial research and impact assessment through testing, documentation, and deployment.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Assist in analyzing business, tax, legal, and regulatory requirements and translating them into functional system requirements for SAP or Oracle EBS solutions.
- Support the development of business analysis documents, functional specifications, process flows, user stories, and acceptance criteria.
- Participate in requirements-gathering sessions with internal stakeholders, regulatory researchers, product teams, and subject matter experts.
- Perform initial impact analysis to identify ERP processes, modules, configuration, reports, interfaces, or forms that may be affected by a requirement.
- Document current-state and future-state business processes and maintain traceability between requirements, solution design, and test results.
- Support testing activities by creating test scenarios and test cases, preparing test data, executing functional tests, documenting results, and reporting defects.
- Collaborate with Development and QA teams to clarify requirements and help ensure delivered solutions align with approved functional designs.
- Assist with troubleshooting client-reported issues by gathering information, reproducing issues, documenting findings, and escalating concerns appropriately.
- Support the preparation of release notes, configuration instructions, functional guidance, and other client-facing documentation.
- Participate in Agile ceremonies, including backlog refinement, sprint planning, daily stand-ups, reviews, and retrospectives.
- Maintain requirements and delivery documentation in approved collaboration and work-tracking tools.
- Identify risks, dependencies, gaps, and unclear requirements and communicate them promptly to the appropriate team members.
- Contribute to knowledge-sharing activities, reusable templates, process improvements, and business analysis best practices.
- Work collaboratively within a virtual, global team environment and communicate effectively across functions and time zones.

Education
- Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Business Administration, Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Equivalent practical experience may be considered.
Language
- Fluent English is required. Spanish is a plus.
Experience
- 1-2 years of experience supporting SAP, Oracle E-Business Suite (EBS), or a comparable enterprise resource planning system.
- Basic functional understanding of one or more ERP business processes, such as Finance, Procurement, Order Management, Supply Chain, Human Resources, Payroll, or Tax.
- Exposure to SAP ECC, SAP S/4HANA, Oracle EBS, or related ERP modules and configuration concepts.
- Experience participating in software implementation, application support, maintenance, enhancement, or testing activities.
- Familiarity with business analysis practices, including requirements gathering, process documentation, functional specifications, or user stories.
- Exposure to software testing activities, including functional testing, defect documentation, regression testing, or user acceptance testing (UAT).
- Basic understanding of the software development lifecycle (SDLC) and the relationship between business requirements, development, testing, and deployment.
- Experience collaborating with business users, functional analysts, developers, QA analysts, or project teams.
- Experience with Jira, Confluence, Azure DevOps, or similar collaboration and work-tracking tools is preferred.

- Ability to work independently in a remote environment with reliable internet service.
- Fluent English communication skills; additional languages are a plus.
- Ability to work calmly and professionally in a fast-paced environment.
Desired Qualifications
- Experience working in an Agile, Scrum, or Kanban delivery environment.
- Experience creating process flows, test scripts, traceability matrices, or functional design documentation.
- Knowledge of tax, regulatory, payroll, finance, localization, or compliance-related business processes.
- Basic knowledge of SQL, reporting tools, interfaces, integrations, or data validation techniques.
- Exposure to ERP implementation or production-support environments.
- Jira and Confluence experience.
- Reliable internet.
