This is a hybrid position and involves regular performance of job responsibilities virtually as well as in-person at an assigned TU office location for a minimum of two days a week. Role Overview And Core Responsibilities
What You'll Bring:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems Management or related field.
- Software development experience in PHP (0-2 years).
- Ability to test code changes through automated and manual testing to identify and resolve technical issues.
- Expert knowledge of object oriented programming.
- Expert knowledge of relational databases, such as MySQL.
- Strong understanding of version control tools, such as Subversion or Git.
- Agile/Scrum experience is a plus.
- Consultative skills in order to understand the technical needs of the client, the ability to determine any problems or unmet needs the client may face and an aptitude for solving complex problems.
- Ability to communicate professionally in written responses with extreme detail to customer requirements in support of solution development and delivery.
We’d love to see:
- Cloud technology experience.
- Experience working with React based websites.
- Strong understanding of front-end technologies, such as JavaScript, HTML5, and CSS3.
- Linux command line and server management experience.
Impact You'll Make:
- In the first 30 days – understanding key components of our systems, through self-learning, code reviews, documentation, and test automation.
- Beyond 30 days - participating in new product design and implementation to fulfill our backlog of product ideas.
