Full description

Role Purpose: Protect the Group's network infrastructure through secure architecture, monitoring, configuration and continuous risk reduction.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, implement and maintain network security controls and architectures.
  • Manage and review firewalls, VPNs, segmentation, IDS/IPS and related security technologies.
  • Conduct network security assessments and configuration reviews.
  • Support network segmentation and zero-trust security initiatives.
  • Monitor network security events and investigate suspicious activity.
  • Collaborate with infrastructure and cloud teams on secure connectivity.
  • Support vulnerability remediation and secure network changes.
  • Maintain network security standards and technical documentation.

Requirements

  • Relevant degree or equivalent professional qualification in Cybersecurity, Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering or a related discipline.
  • Relevant professional certifications will be an advantage and should align with the specific role.
  • Demonstrable practical experience relevant to the position.
  • Strong communication, analytical, documentation and stakeholder-management skills.
  • Ability to operate in a regulated, technology-driven and multi-business environment.

Preferred / Added Advantage Certifications

  • CCNP Security
  • PCNSA/PCNSE, Fortinet or equivalent network security certification
  • Security+ or equivalent
