Project Description: DRT provides IT Project Management and Technical Advisory support for our customers’ IT systems. Many of these systems are high-profile, mission critical, and are used by our customer for workflow management, data management, data sharing, decision support, consumer complaints, and many other critical activities. While new applications are developed to support emerging needs, most applications are long-lived and continue to need development support.

Job Summary: The Salesforce Business Analyst supports the requirements gathering, development, and deployment of workflows and other applications within the government’s Salesforce applications and other web development efforts. The position will also support document creation, data analysis, and provide recommendations on future Salesforce solutions. The position requires organization, attention to detail, reliability, consistency, and interaction with government stakeholders.

Responsibilities:• Designs, configures, customizes, and deploys applications within low-code platforms. This includes building features from customer requirements, managing data flows, and performing routine maintenance, enhancements, and bug fixes.

  • Monitors and reports on the health, effectiveness, and efficiency of applications.
  • Document functional and non-functional requirements, success stories, and recommendations.
  • Use flowcharts or tools such as Visio/Lucidchart/Miro.
  • Develops and manages a schedule to meet deliverables and establish estimated completion dates.
  • Follows the government’s software development lifecycle framework and provide agreed upon project documentation.
  • Supports requirements elicitation and provide feedback to optimize requirements to align to development best practices. Works with business owners and business analysts to define workflows and develop user stories.
  • Researches and utilizes network to find answer to technical questions or challenges. Troubleshoots issues and conducts root cause analyses and end user support for system-run processes.
  • Makes recommendations to clients to support strategic planning and management of low-code application platforms.
  • Completes tasks on time with minimal supervision but supports collaboration across teams.
  • Works with the Task Order Manager to status reports (risks/issues, deliverables, completed and anticipated activities). Supports other activities as directed by Task Order Manager

Required Experience:• Must have or be able to obtain a Public Trust.

  • Total three to five years of experience.
  • At least one year, but three to five years preferred, of recent experience developing applications in Salesforce.
  • Knows objects, fields, relationships, record types, page layouts, flows, reports, dashboards, and security.
  • Understands what Salesforce can do out of the box versus when customization or integration is needed.
  • Doesn't necessarily need to be a developer but should be comfortable discussing Salesforce architecture and have knowledge of capabilities.

Preferred Experience:• General knowledge and experience working with the federal government.

  • Salesforce certificates and training completion

Education & Training:• Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Software Engineering, Business or relevant field

Work Authorization, Clearance Requirement, & Additional Information:• This position requires the ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government Public Trust clearance. Due to contract requirements, candidates must be U.S. citizens or lawful permanent residents (green card holders) to be eligible.

Salary Range:• $60,000 - $70,000

  • Salary commensurate with experience.
