Job Title: Senior SRv6 Network Engineer

Role Summary: Seeking an experienced Network Engineer with strong expertise in SRv6, MPLS, IPv6, BGP, ISIS, EVPN, and Service Provider Networks to support Optus network transformation and modernization initiatives.

Key Skills & Experience:

  • 8+ years of

experience in IP/MPLS Service Provider networks

  • Strong hands-on

experience with:

o SRv6 (Segment Routing IPv6)

o MPLS & Segment Routing

o BGP, ISIS, OSPF

o EVPN/VXLAN

o IPv4 & IPv6

o Traffic Engineering and QoS

Experience on:

o Nokia 7750 SR / SR OS

o Cisco ASR9K / NCS / IOS-XR

o Juniper (preferred)

  • Network automation

experience using Python, Ansible, YANG, NETCONF/RESTCONF

  • Experience in

carrier-grade backbone networks, network transformation, and migration programs

  • Ability to provide

L3 support and drive RCA for critical incidents

Preferred Certifications:

  • CCNP/CCIE Service

Provider

  • Nokia NRS-I /

NRS-II

  • JNCIP-SP /

JNCIE-SP

  • ITIL
