We are looking for a design-led Senior Product Manager to own the unified experience and design system across ADI — ensuring one coherent user experience across every use case and product area, today and across the forthcoming roadmap. ADI is built by many teams delivering different parts of the experience; without a single design authority, those parts drift apart. This role exists to prevent that.

You will own the design language and the shared UI component library, take the design decisions that keep the platform coherent, and fast-track the journey from wireframe to interactive prototype to reusable component — working closely with product designers and making heavy, deliberate use of AI-assisted design tooling. You are AI-native by default: you author experience context as executable specification and build prototypes yourself.

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES:

Own the unified experience & design system

  • Own one design language across all ADI experiences — patterns, components, accessibility and interaction standards — and the roadmap for the design system itself.
  • Ensure experience uniformity across every use case and product area — investor, payments, fund-of-funds and reporting — today and across the forthcoming roadmap.

Design decisions & fast-tracking

  • Take and own the design decisions that keep the platform coherent, resolving experience conflicts across teams with authority.
  • Fast-track wireframes → interactive prototypes → a reusable UI component library, working hand-in-glove with product designers; establish the governance that keeps every team using the shared library rather than building their own.
  • Work alongside the other product managers as they build their first prototypes — giving hands-on UI/UX help and direction so those early prototypes move closer to a polished, production-ready experience from a design perspective.

Building AI-Native — how we work

  • Author Executable PRDs (xPRDs) — structured context repositories that combine natural-language intent, machine-actionable specification, complete business and technical context, edge cases, success metrics and acceptance criteria, and embedded governance guardrails.
  • Build the first functional prototype yourself during ideation and discovery, using AI tooling to validate desirability (product-market fit with clients) and feasibility (with architects) in parallel — then hand a high-fidelity, context-rich prototype to engineering to curate and take to production quality.
  • Use AI-assisted design and prototyping tools to compress the path from wireframe to interactive prototype to reusable component, dramatically reducing iteration cycles with product designers.
  • Own the non-functional requirements — performance, availability, scalability, security and accessibility — from day one, treating them as first-class product requirements rather than an afterthought.
  • Work within an enhanced design-thinking approach with governance embedded from day one — ethical AI and user rights, privacy, security, risk and compliance, and audit/traceability — alongside explicit attention to data readiness (maturity, availability and quality).

Quality & governance

  • Own accessibility (e.g. WCAG), design quality and consistency governance across teams; embed ethical-AI, privacy, security and auditability into experience decisions.

Delivery & cross-functional

  • Partner with every team delivering ADI; act as the design authority for the core ADI experience, collaborating closely with product designers and engineering.

SKILLS & EXPERIENCE:

Essential

  • Proven senior experience as a design-led product manager, design-technologist or product-design lead building and scaling design systems and component libraries.
  • Deep UX craft and front-end literacy — component libraries and large, multi-team web products.
  • AI-native by default — heavy, effective use of AI-assisted design and prototyping tools, plus the ability to author executable specification and build prototypes.
  • The confidence and credibility to take design decisions and hold consistency across many teams.

Desirable

  • Experience in enterprise B2B, fintech or financial-services products; alternatives or fund-administration domain a plus.
  • Experience standing up a design system across a large, multi-team product.
  • Experience in agile, multi-team delivery.

Personal Attributes

  • Decisive on design, with a strong systems-thinking instinct for coherence at scale.
  • Highly collaborative with product designers and engineers, yet willing to hold the line on standards.
  • Hands-on, fast, and energised by using new AI tooling to raise both speed and quality.
