GFI is seeking a creative, detail-oriented Graphic Designer to join our Marketing team. In this role, you’ll help bring our brands to life across print, packaging, digital, video, and event channels by creating visual content that inspires, informs, and engages customers and consumers.

The ideal candidate is a collaborative and highly organized designer who can manage multiple projects, maintain brand consistency, and move creative work from concept through final production.

What does your day look like? Some of your duties may include:

Develop graphics for product illustrations, logos, websites, and digital channels Design brand collateral, including flyers, catalogs, sell sheets, posters, and trade show displays Select colors, imagery, typography, and layouts that maintain consistency with established brand standards Design food labels and packaging from initial concept through print-ready production files Manage in-house and outsourced print projects, including file preparation and proof review Design and update website graphics and content Create email templates, digital advertisements, and social media graphics Edit short-form video and create motion graphics for web, social media, and digital campaigns Design event materials, including booth displays, signage, and promotional items Collaborate with vendors and internal teams on packaging, labeling, and other graphic design projects Manage multiple creative projects while meeting established deadlines and production requirements

Things you need to be able to do:

Minimum of two years of related graphic design experience Thorough knowledge of Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign Strong understanding of design fundamentals, including typography, hierarchy, composition, color theory, and layout Working knowledge of print production, including CMYK and Pantone (PMS) color, dielines, bleeds, outlined text, linked and embedded images, and press-ready file preparation Ability to consistently apply and extend brand guidelines across packaging, print, digital, and event materials Web design experience Copywriting and proofreading skills Strong attention to detail and organizational skills Ability to follow direction, incorporate feedback, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment Ability to manage multiple projects independently and collaboratively Strong communication and teamwork skills Portfolio demonstrating print and digital design work is required for consideration

Things that are a plus but not a deal-breaker:

Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, Visual Communication, or a related field; equivalent professional experience may be considered Knowledge of Squarespace or other website platforms Photography experience Video editing and motion graphics experience using tools such as Adobe Premiere Pro or After Effects Familiarity with food packaging and labeling requirements, including Nutrition Facts panels and allergen statements Experience using generative AI tools, such as Adobe Firefly, to support creative ideation and production within established brand guidelines Experience creating packaging, marketing, or promotional materials for food, consumer products, or related industries
