Overview
The Graphic Designer plays a key role on the Big Sky Resort marketing team, supporting the development of marketing creative and facilitating on-the-ground design functions across the resort. In partnership with the wider marketing function and team, the Graphic Designer role will act as a critical collaborator in driving the excitement and energy of one of Norh America’s most iconic mountain destinations.
Responsibilities
- Manage design projects for internal departments, including Food and Beverage, Lodging, Retail, Mountain Sports, Mountain Services, Mountain Operations, and Human Resources
- Lead the design and execution of resort signage and other marketing materials
- Collaborate with the Marketing team to plan and execute seasonal marketing campaigns
- Design assets for marketing channels, including email, social media, website, public relations, sales, and paid media
- Manage print vendor relationships, including order placement and purchase order management
- Support the marketing team with community events
- Manage external design partner relationships as needed
Qualifications
Note: Applicants must be prepared to submit a design portfolio for review prior to interview.
- Bachelor's degree (or equivalent experience) in Graphic Design or a related field
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, Microsoft Office Suite, and Figma, with the ability to learn new tools as needed
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects independently, prioritize effectively, and collaborate across teams and with external partners
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, with excellent organization, time management, and attention to detail
- A positive, can-do attitude with a self-starting and dependable work ethic
- Passion for skiing, snowboarding, and the outdoors preferred
