Android Developer

Are you the kind of Android developer who cares as much about how an app feels as how it's built? Framna is looking for an Android Developer to join our Stockholm studio.

You'll build and maintain native Android apps as part of a cross-functional product team that shares that same drive and passion for building products people actually love to use.

Framna partners with some of the world's most ambitious brands, like Swish, SJ, Essity, and SEB, to create digital products that define markets and deliver real-world impact. We are more than 600 people across ten studios, building apps and digital products used by millions every day.

As our next Android Developer, you'll join our team in Stockholm, working alongside designers, developers, QA engineers, analysts, and product leads to take ideas from first concept to real-world product.

You'll also become part of Framna's wider Engineering team, where developers meet regularly to exchange knowledge and grow together.

What you will do

This is a role for someone who enjoys combining hands-on building with genuine care for quality. You'll work closely with your team to build, ship, and maintain Android features that are ready for real users.

More specifically, you will:

• Build and maintain Android apps and features in production, using Kotlin and Jetpack Compose

• Take ownership of product quality and performance

• Collaborate closely with designers and your product team to turn technical and business needs into solutions

• Work across team boundaries, in some engagements our backend sits with another party, which calls for close daily communication

• Take initiative and make sound decisions independently, while knowing when to bring in the right person

Who you are

Are you ready to make this role your own? You might recognise yourself if you:

• Have around 3–4 years of professional experience building native Android apps in Kotlin and Compose

• Have shipped at least one app to the Play Store and are comfortable releasing and maintaining an app in production

• Communicate well and are comfortable translating technical and business needs into working solutions together with a product team

• Are self-driven, take ownership of your work, and know when to ask for input

• Are curious about AI-assisted and agentic development, and enjoy using AI tools actively and thoughtfully in your everyday work

Please note: we're office first, with our Stockholm studio as our main hub for demos, fika, and everyday collaboration, mixed with the freedom to work from home when it makes sense. You need to be based in Stockholm or within commuting distance. Unfortunately we're not able to offer relocation.
