Job requirements

  • Experience Range: Entry-level role for candidates with at least : 0-2 years of relevant experience, including exposure to application support or healthcare technology. Key Responsibilities: 1. Execute routine maintenance, validation, and support tasks for Epic healthcare applications under supervision. 2. Assist with test execution, ticket updates, documentation, and basic application troubleshooting. 3. Support scheduled upgrades, onboarding activities, and security or access-related requests within provider or payer workflows. 4. Participate in department build support or payer-platform support activities as assigned. 5. Document work clearly in Jira, knowledge articles, test evidence, and support records. 6. Incorporate coaching from experienced professionals into daily tasks and participate in structured onboarding. Required Skills: 1. Basic proficiency with Jira or similar ticketing and documentation tools 2. Familiarity with healthcare application support or enterprise technology environments 3. Understanding of software testing principles and validation processes 4. Exposure to Epic terminology, workflows, or healthcare IT concepts 5. Ability to follow structured procedures and document technical work accurately Preferred Skills: 1. Experience with Epic modules such as Ambulatory, Healthy Planet, MyChart, Cadence, or Prelude 2. Exposure to payer-platform workflows including claims, enrollment, or care management 3. Familiarity with security, privacy, or compliance requirements in healthcare technology 4. Basic knowledge of SQL or data querying for support and validation tasks 5. Experience with software testing or systems analysis in healthcare settings Desired Qualifications: 1. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Healthcare Informatics, or a related field 2. Interest in pursuing Epic certification or training based on performance and eligibility 3. Completion of healthcare orientation or Epic terminology education (preferred) Additional Information: Epic Analyst I is an entry-level application support role with structured onboarding, supervised delivery, and potential Epic training.
