How You will Make An Impact:
Data Analytics & Business Intelligence
- Analyse large volumes of outside plant network, inventory and operational data to identify trends, exceptions, risks and improvements opportunities.
- Develop and maintain Power BI dashboards and management reports for Outside Plant Engineering and Operations.
- Establish KPIs and performance metrics covering utilization and work progress, SLA performance, productivity, data quality and operational efficiency.
- Perform trend, variance, aging, exception and root cause analysis to support management decision making.
Outside Plant Network Analytics
- Support analytics for outside plant infrastructure including:
- Fibre and Copper cables
- Cables routes and cable segments
- Ducts and sub-ducts
- Manholes
- Fibre distribution infrastructure
- Splitters and access network resources
- Analyse infrastructure capacity, utilization, availability, and infrastructure conditions.
- Identify underutilize, duplicate, obsolete or incorrect recorded resources.
- Provide analytical support for infrastructure investment decision.
Outside Plant Inventory & Data Quality
- Perform data validation, reconciliation, and cleansing of inventory information.
- Identify missing, duplicate, inconsistent or inaccurate records.
- Work with engineering and system teams to investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies.
- Support reconciliation between Network Resource Inventory (NRI), GIS, Digital Field Force (DFF) and other sources systems.
Automation & Process Improvement
- Identify repetitive operational activities suitable for automation.
- Develop automated workflows using tools such as Power Automate, Power Automate Desktop or equivalent tools that are approved by company.
- Reduce manual effort and improve process turnaround time through data-driven automation.
- Measure and track productivity and man-hour saving delivered through automation initiatives.
AI & Advanced Analytics
- Design, build and maintain AI workflow/agents for operations use cases.
- Develop and optimize AI-driven workflows to improve operational efficiency.
- Experiment with multi-agent architecture, RAG pipelines, and skills-based frameworks.
- Apply emerging AI technologies to enhance AI workflow/agents.
- Explore the application of AI, GenAI, and advanced analytics to Outside Plant Engineering use cases.
- Work with operation teams and stakeholders to validate outputs and improve workflows based on user and operational feedback.
Skills for Success:
- Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Machine Learning, Artificial Intelligence, or a related discipline.
- Strong analytical thinker, fast learner, able to understand requirements, adapt to new AI tools and domains, communicate clearly, and work independently
- Strong proficiency in Python programming and familiarity with AI/ML libraries.
- Experience with retrieval-augmented generation (RAG), multi-agent frameworks, or workflow orchestration systems.
- Hands-on experience with AI-assisted development tools (e.g., Claude Code, Codex, Cursor) is an added advantage.
- Keen interest in applying latest AI technologies.
- Telcom outside plant or network inventory experience would be advantage.
