Job Description
Position: Co-op - Cybersecurity
Primary Location: North Vancouver, BC
Reports To: Cybersecurity Director
Compensation: $19 - $22 per hour

About the Role
The Cybersecurity GRC and Administrative Intern will support the Chemtrade Cybersecurity team with documentation, reporting, coordination, awareness, compliance, and program tracking.
The role requires basic cybersecurity knowledge but is primarily focused on organization, communication, and administrative support.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain cybersecurity trackers, action items, records, and documentation.
- Support cybersecurity ticket assignment, follow-up, and status reporting.
- Assist with vendor security assessments and evidence collection.
- Help track security awareness training and phishing simulation activities.
- Support preparation of reports, presentations, meeting notes, and communications.
- Organize policies, procedures, risk assessments, and audit evidence.
- Assist with scheduling cybersecurity meetings, exercises, and awareness activities.
- Follow up with internal teams on outstanding cybersecurity actions.
- Perform basic research on security requirements and good practices.
- Help maintain Cybersecurity SharePoint and knowledge resources.
Qualifications
- Currently enrolled in Cybersecurity, Information Technology, Business Administration, Risk Management, or a related program.
- Basic understanding of cybersecurity, privacy, risk, or compliance concepts.
- Strong Microsoft Office skills, particularly Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and SharePoint.
- Strong organizational, written communication, and follow-up skills.
- Attention to detail and ability to handle confidential information appropriately.
