In R&D Controlling, your work helps bring the miracles of science to patients. Join a high-performing team focused on finance transformation and building a best-in-class Controlling Operations organization supporting the Research and Translational Medicine Unit (TMU) pillars.

As a Financial Analyst, you will support key financial activities including budgeting and forecasting, project tracking, month-end and quarter-end close, journal entries, reconciliations, and financial analysis. You will help ensure the completeness and accuracy of financial results while partnering with Finance Business Partners (FBPs), Account to Report (A2R), and R&D stakeholders worldwide.

As part of Controlling Operations, you will contribute to process improvements, strengthen collaboration across Finance, and continue developing your analytical, technical, and business partnering skills.

Main Responsibilities:

• Support month-end and quarter-end closing activities, including preparing accruals and journal entries for SAP and maintaining financial master data in SAP and TM1.

• Prepare analyses supporting balance sheet accruals, prepaids, reserves, and other financial balances.

• Partner with Account to Report (A2R) to support an accurate and timely financial close.

• Track Research & Development Purchase Orders (POs) and collaborate with stakeholders to ensure timely goods receipt and invoice processing.

• Prepare monthly account reconciliations and provide clear explanations of balance fluctuations and account composition.

• Support off-balance sheet reporting and specialized financial schedules.

• Collaborate with Finance Business Partners (FBPs) and Controlling Operations teams to improve processes and support business needs.

• Prepare monthly financial reporting and support the preparation of commentary for Global Finance partners and local business stakeholders.

• Analyze financial results and trends to identify potential risks, opportunities, and variances.

• Support budgeting and forecasting activities by reviewing actuals versus plan, highlighting variances, coordinating TM1 updates, and supporting all forecast cycles.

• Monitor commitments to provide visibility of Year-to-Date (YTD) and Year-to-Go (YTG) spend and support monthly variance analysis.

• Participate in business partnering activities with R&D stakeholders.

• Ensure compliance with SOX requirements, internal controls, and monthly Controlling checklists.

• Identify opportunities for process simplification and support continuous improvement initiatives.

• Contribute ideas to improve processes and enhance financial tools.

• Continue building financial and business knowledge to better support stakeholders.

• Support stakeholders in understanding financial policies, processes, and compliance requirements.

• Support Finance initiatives and other ad hoc projects as required.

About You

Experience

• 1–3 years of experience in Controllership, Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A), or related finance roles.

Soft Skills

• Strong attention to detail, quality, and accuracy.

• Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a dynamic environment.

Technical Skills

• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.

• Proficiency using Pivot Tables, XLOOKUP/VLOOKUP, complex formulas, and basic macros.

• Strong analytical capabilities and attention to detail.

• Ability to work across multiple financial systems and digital tools.

• High ethical standards and commitment to financial integrity.

• Experience with SAP, TM1 (IBM Planning Analytics), and Power BI is preferred.

Education

Required

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Mathematics, Statistics, Engineering, or another analytical discipline.

Preferred

• Progress toward or interest in professional certifications such as CMA, CIMA/CGMA, ACCA, or CPA.

• MBA or Lean Six Sigma certification is a plus.

• Experience within the pharmaceutical industry or public accounting is an advantage.

• Experience with SAP, TM1 (IBM Planning Analytics), and Power BI is preferred.

The salary range for this position is :Ft9 120 000,00 - Ft13 680 000,00Final compensation will be determined based on demonstrated experience, skills, location, and other relevant factors. Employees may be eligible to participate in Company employee benefit programs.
