Java Microservices Developer

Summary

We are seeking a skilled Java Microservices Developer to join our team in Chennai, with an immediate start required within 15 days. This role is critical for supporting and enhancing our cloud-native applications, focusing on robust backend development using Spring Boot and microservices architectures. The successful candidate will bridge the gap between application support and development, ensuring seamless integration with databases and efficient production release cycles. This position offers a competitive salary ranging from 14 LPA to 16 LPA, depending on experience levels, and is based at the Vikatan Office in Chennai.

Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and maintain scalable microservices using the Spring Framework and Spring Boot.
  • Implement cloud-native design patterns to ensure high availability and performance of applications.
  • Integrate messaging systems using Apache Camel and Kafka for robust data flow management.
  • Manage containerized deployments and orchestration, leveraging OpenShift Container Platform (OCP) or similar technologies.
  • Provide comprehensive application support, including troubleshooting, database integration, and managing production release activities.
  • Collaborate on mobile application development initiatives where applicable to enhance cross-platform functionality.
  • Participate in face-to-face interviews and onboarding processes as scheduled.

Requirements

  • Experience: 3 to 5 years of total professional experience, with a specific focus on Java Microservices and Spring Boot development.
  • Technical Proficiency: Strong command of Java development, Spring Boot, and Microservices architecture.
  • Cloud & Containers: Practical experience with container-based deployment frameworks, particularly OpenShift Container Platform (OCP).

  • Additional Skills: Experience in mobile application development is highly desirable.
