About the role

We’re looking for a Mid/Senior QA Engineer to join our Data Insights team, with a focus on manual testing of backend and data-intensive systems.

 

Automation is a plus, not a must - we value strong QA fundamentals, analytical thinking, and technical troubleshooting.

Responsibilities

• Test APIs, backend services, databases, and system integrations

• Perform manual, exploratory, integration, E2E, and regression testing

• Validate data using SQL and investigate issues through logs, APIs, and databases

• Identify risks, edge cases, dependencies, and root causes

• Own testing activities and collaborate closely with developers and product teams

• Contribute to QA processes and automation where applicable

Requirements

• Mid/Senior-level Manual QA experience

• Strong API/backend testing and SQL/database skills

• Solid understanding of test design, integration, E2E, and regression testing

• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills

• Ability to understand complex systems and work independently

• Good English and communication skills

• Python/Test automation

• Big Data & Data Lakes, ETL/Data pipelines, Power BI (or any other BI tool)

• PostgreSQL/BigQuery

• Pulsar/Event streaming

• Docker/Kubernetes, CI/CD, Jenkins, Git
