Your focus:

  • Design intuitive user interfaces for web and mobile applications, ensuring consistency and modern aesthetics.
  • Transform wireframes, concepts, and product requirements into high-fidelity designs and interactive prototypes in Figma.
  • Create wireframes where appropriate to communicate ideas and validate solutions early in the design process.
  • Identify usability issues and friction points in existing customer journeys, recommending practical design improvements.
  • Use user behaviour insights from tools such as Hotjar, analytics platforms, and customer feedback to help inform design decisions.
  • Develop and maintain design systems, style guides, and reusable component libraries.
  • Ensure designs meet accessibility standards (WCAG and inclusive design principles).
  • Collaborate closely with developers to ensure designs are implemented accurately and consistently.
  • Participate in design reviews, gather feedback, and iterate on solutions.
  • Stay current with UI design trends, emerging technologies, and best practices.
  • Contribute to building a strong design culture within the organisation.

Required skills & qualifications:

  • Experience working with design systems and reusable component libraries.
  • Good understanding of UX principles and interaction design.
  • Ability to identify usability issues and improve existing user flows.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to balance visual quality with usability.

Nice-to-have:

  • Experience using Hotjar, Microsoft Clarity, Google Analytics, Mixpanel, Amplitude, or similar tools to understand user behaviour.
  • Experience interpreting session recordings, heatmaps, funnels, or analytics to identify opportunities for UX improvements.
  • Experience working with Jira, Confluence, and Agile product development processes.
