The GeForce NOW Developer Portal (GDP) is the centrepiece of the developer environment NVIDIA offers its partner to develop, test and publish games to GeForce NOW. The GDP organization builds and operates that environment, collaborating closely with game publishers and internal teams across NVIDIA to continuously evolve this environment and offer a world-class developer experience. It also interacts directly with partners to provide them guidance and support in successfully getting their content on the platform.

We're looking for a seasoned engineering leader to manage a software engineering team within NVIDIA's GeForce NOW Developer Portal (GDP) organization, supporting internal and external users. Become part of a groundbreaking team to build the services, tools, and UIs that power the GeForce NOW cloud gaming ecosystem!

What Will You Be Doing:

  • Gain and maintain a deep understanding of how the GeForce NOW Developer Portal (GDP) organization builds and operates the various components that support NVIDIA's cloud gaming ecosystem
  • Develop, guide, and supervise a team of engineers in their daily activities.
  • Partner with multiple internal teams to develop roadmaps, development strategies and processes.
  • Gather high-level requirements and influence the design and implementation of the team's software products.
  • Present regular status updates and deep dives to various audiences, including internal stakeholders and external partners.
  • Organize, deploy and coordinate partner support activities and infrastructure.

What We Need To See:

  • BS/MS degree in Computer Science or related areas (or equivalent experience)
  • 8+ overall years of overall experience designing and building distributed software systems, including edge and networking services, with 3+ years of experience leading and developing teams of engineers with diverse technical backgrounds across organizations.
  • Experience building and operating services on AWS, including EKS, ECS Fargate, ALB/NLB, WAF, and ACM.
  • Strong ability to write code in mainstream systems programming languages such as Golang, Java, C, C++, or Rust
  • Experience with Kubernetes, container orchestration (containerd, CRI-O, Docker), and infrastructure-as-code tooling (Terraform/OpenTofu, Helm, GitOps/ArgoCD)
  • Experience with real-time, low-latency streaming systems such as WebRTC
  • Demonstrated ability to design and operate partner- and developer-facing APIs (REST/GraphQL) at scale
  • Experience with secrets management and Identity and Access Management approaches (e.g., Vault, IAM), production observability and incident response, and the ability to reach cross-functional consensus while dealing with ambiguity.

Ways To Stand Out From The Crowd:

  • Experience in developing, maintaining and supporting a user-facing software infrastructure composed of different types of sofware components.
  • Experience in measuring and improving operational excellence
  • Experienced, persuasive, and effective presentation skills (written and verbal)
  • Demonstrated skills in leadership, communication, mentoring, analysis, problem-solving, and short/long-term planning
  • Excellent interpersonal and organizational skills and the ability to handle diverse situations.
