Full description

We're a team of diverse Treasury and Payments specialists helping our clients solution and build for the future. The Programmatic Channels team owns the "pipes" that move corporate payment instructions and data between our clients and our bank — including Corporate APIs, Open Banking APIs, SFTP and FileAct file transmission, SWIFT Fin and FinPlus messaging rails, and the canonical formats that convert diverse corporate customer inputs into standard, machine-readable payment files.

As an Analyst Product Manager, you'll support the execution of our programmatic channels roadmap, working closely with engineers, implementation specialists, and treasury professionals to make sure client payment submissions are processed accurately, efficiently, and at scale though any of the channels. This is a hands-on role for someone who is energized by data, detail, and the operational backbone of corporate payments — and who wants to build a foundation in product management.

Responsibilities

  • Support the day-to-day execution of the API and file-based channels roadmap
  • Assist in the canonical conversion of varied client payment formats into our standardized internal payment formats, working with engineering to troubleshoot mapping and transformation logic.
  • Analyze payment transmission and processing data to identify failure patterns, formatting errors, latency issues, and opportunities for automation or client education.
  • Partner with customers, implementation and servicing teams on new feature requests and drive its delivery.
  • Maintain and improve internal documentation, runbooks, and format guides used by engineering, implementation, and client-facing teams.
  • Track and report on key operational metrics and help translate findings into prioritized backlog items.
  • Participate in user acceptance testing (UAT) for new payment formats, connectivity types, and channel enhancements.
  • Contribute to a culture of continuous improvement by flagging recurring pain points and proposing incremental fixes to formats, validation rules, or processes.

Qualifications

  • 2–3 years of experience in product management, business analysis, operations, or a related role — ideally within payments, banking, or financial services.
  • Experience in API design and developer experience (DX) — including RESTful API product management, developer portals, and API-first product strategy
  • Background in electronic payments — including ACH, wires, SWIFT, real-time payments (RTP, FedNow, SEPA Instant), and cross-border payment flows
  • Familiarity with file transfer protocols and standards (SFTP, FileAct) and/or payment messaging standards (SWIFT MT, ISO 20022) is strongly preferred.
  • Strong analytical skills, including comfort working with large datasets (Excel, SQL, or similar tools) to identify trends and root causes.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to translate technical file specifications into clear documentation for both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • A detail-oriented, organized approach to managing feature delivery cycle: from initial client request to engineering requirements, testing to go-live.
  • Exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence at the executive level

You may be a good fit for this role if you are enthusiastic and curious about:

  • The business, technical, and/or operational aspects of payments and banking
  • Electronic payments, real time payments, card networks, stablecoin payments, and emerging payment schemes
  • The design of APIs and have pride in best-in-class developer experience (DX) — including intuitive documentation, sandbox environments, and seamless onboarding for corporate clients and fintech partners
  • Corporate treasury, cash management, and the inner workings of large corporates and financial institutions
  • User experience (UX) design principles across all payment channel touchpoints, partnering with design teams to deliver interfaces and workflows that are elegant, intuitive, and client-centric
  • Drive the integration and strategic application of Generative AI capabilities within payment channels — including intelligent payment routing, anomaly detection, client-facing assistants, and workflow automation
  • Stay current on industry trends including ISO 20022 migration, real-time payments, open banking/APIs, card scheme innovations, and network-level VAS (e.g., SWIFT gpi, request-to-pay schemes)
  • Ensuring all payment channel products comply with relevant regulatory requirements (e.g., AML/KYC, data privacy such as GDPR/CCPA, PSD2 where applicable)
