Job Description

We are currently looking for Power BI Consultant for our Qatar operations

Qualifications and Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, Business Analytics, or a related discipline.
  • Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience in Power BI report development and business intelligence delivery.
  • Practical experience working with Microsoft Dynamics 365 CRM, Dataverse, Oracle/ERP, SQL databases, or enterprise business applications.
  • Experience in requirement gathering, stakeholder workshops, UAT coordination, data validation, and production support.
  • Experience in real estate, property management, facilities, finance, procurement, customer service, or enterprise operations reporting is an advantage.

Role Purpose

The resource will support  reporting, analytics and business application data requirements by developing Power BI dashboards and providing data/reporting support across Microsoft Dynamics 365 CRM, Oracle/ERP and other systems. The role is expected to go beyond dashboard development by understanding source systems, validating data, supporting integrations, coordinating with business users and ensuring reports are secure, accurate, timely and aligned with operational and management reporting needs.

Key Responsibilities

Power BI Reporting and Analytics

  • Design, develop, publish and maintain Power BI dashboards, reports, KPI scorecards and executive-level analytics for management and business departments.
  • Build efficient semantic models, datasets, measures and calculations using Power Query, DAX and appropriate data modeling practices. • Configure scheduled refresh, gateway connections, workspace access, report sharing, subscriptions and deployment support in Power BI Service.
  • Implement row-level security, data access controls and report governance in coordination with IT and business owners.
  • Optimize report performance, data refresh timing, model size, and user experience across dashboards.

 

Microsoft Dynamics 365 CRM and Power Platform

 

  • Work with Microsoft Dynamics 365 CRM data, Dataverse tables/entities, views, relationships and business process data for reporting and operational insights.
  • Support reporting requirements from CRM modules, including customer records, cases/requests, sales/service activities, workflows, approvals and other configured CRM processes.
  • Coordinate with CRM administrators, functional users and vendors to understand data structure, field mapping, business rules and reporting requirements.
  • Support Power Platform related reporting needs, including Power Apps, Power Automate workflow data, Power Pages portal data and Dataverse-based solutions where applicable.
  • Assist in validating CRM data quality, duplicate records, missing fields, incorrect mappings and report discrepancies.
