We're hiring a Senior Data Visualization Developer to turn complex data into visual insights that drive smarter decisions. If you're passionate about designing dashboards that tell compelling stories and love collaborating with stakeholders to deliver meaningful analytics, this role is for you.
What will you do?
- Create interactive dashboards and visualizations that transform raw data into clear, actionable insights
- Develop and maintain BI solutions that empower teams to make informed, data-driven decisions
- Partner with stakeholders to understand their analytical needs and deliver tailored visual solutions
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to team members on visualization techniques and best practices
What are the key skills we are looking for?
- Develop interactive data visualizations and dashboards using Tableau.
- Work closely with stakeholders to gather requirements and understand data needs.
- Create and maintain data sources, data extracts, and data visualizations.
- Collaborate with data engineers and business analysts to ensure effective data integration and visualization.
- Optimize Tableau dashboards for performance and usability.
- Perform data analysis and modeling using SQL to create curated data models, including both from semantic gold data layers as well as occasionally prototyping ahead of data engineering efforts.
- Support other enterprise analytics Tableau users with best practice guidance and technical expertise.
- Troubleshoot issues with Tableau dashboards and provide timely resolutions.
- Stay updated on Tableau best practices, new features, and industry trends.
What qualifications will make you successful?
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Systems, or a related field.
- Minimum of 4-6 years of experience in Tableau development
- Proficiency in SQL with a strong understanding of database concepts.
- Experience in data visualization and dashboard design principles.
- Experience in ETL technologies.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively in a team environment.
- Tableau Desktop/Server certifications are a plus. Knowledge of AWS Redshift, S3 would be an advantage.
