Job Description

We are looking for a Java Production Support Engineer with strong hands-on experience in Java coding, Core Java, SQL, UNIX/Linux, and Shell Scripting. The candidate will be responsible for supporting production applications, troubleshooting technical issues, and ensuring application stability and availability.

Mandatory Skills

  • Strong hands-on experience in Java coding and Core Java
  • Good knowledge of Java programming and debugging
  • Strong SQL skills, including writing and troubleshooting queries
  • Good hands-on experience with UNIX/Linux commands
  • Experience in Shell scripting
  • Strong experience in Production/Application Support
  • Ability to analyze logs, identify root causes, and resolve production issues
  • Experience in incident, problem, and issue resolution
  • Good troubleshooting and analytical skills

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide L2/L3 production support for Java-based applications.
  • Analyze and resolve production incidents and application issues.
  • Debug Java code and perform necessary code-level fixes.
  • Write and execute SQL queries for issue analysis and data validation.
  • Use UNIX/Linux commands for application monitoring and troubleshooting.
  • Develop and maintain shell scripts for automation and support activities.
  • Analyze application logs and identify root causes.
  • Coordinate with development, infrastructure, and other technical teams for issue resolution.
  • Participate in incident management, root-cause analysis, and preventive actions.
  • Ensure production applications meet availability and stability requirements.

Mandatory Technical Skills

Java | Core Java | Java Coding | SQL | UNIX/Linux | Shell Scripting | Production Support | Troubleshooting | Debugging

Must Have skills:

  • Java with Support engineer (Strong in core Java) (Mandatory)
  • SQL or PL SQL (should write complex Queries) (Mandatory)
  • Unix and Shell script (Mandatory)

OCJP (Oracle Certified Java Programmer) certification good to have not mandatory.

Salary: 15 - 23 INR Per annum
