Bring your React expertise to a team building the next generation of broker technology at IAG. As part of the Intermediated Technology team, you’ll contribute to a major transformation program delivering new digital experiences and technology solutions that support brokers across the business. Working across platforms including Guidewire, Jutro, MuleSoft and Appian, you’ll help create modern front end solutions that make a real difference for users. This is an opportunity to work on meaningful projects, collaborate with talented delivery teams and see your work have impact in a fast moving environment focused on innovation and continuous improvement. This is a 12-month max-term full-time role based in Gadigal Country (Darling Park 2, Sydney) or Gadigal Country (Darling Park 2, Sydney).

 

What You'll Do

  •    Design and develop modern React applications that support new digital capabilities and enhance the broker experience.
  •    Collaborate with Product Owners, Business Analysts, testers and engineers to deliver high quality solutions from concept through to release.
  •    Build responsive, accessible and scalable user interfaces using React and contemporary front end development practices.
  •    Translate business and technical requirements into clean, maintainable code that delivers reliable and engaging customer experiences.
  •    Contribute to agile delivery activities including sprint planning, backlog refinement, estimation and continuous improvement initiatives.
  •    Support production deployments, troubleshoot issues and help maintain high performing applications throughout their lifecycle.

 

What You'll Bring

  •    Strong commercial experience between 5-7 years developing applications with React in enterprise environments with knowledge of JavaScript (ES6+) and TypeScript.
  •    Experience consuming REST APIs and integrating with backend services.
  •    Solid understanding of responsive and accessible web design principles.
  •    Experience with source control platforms such as GitHub and CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.
  •    Experience with modern state management approaches including Redux or Context API.
  •    Strong problem-solving , analytical skills, stakeholder communication and teamwork capabilities.
  •    Strong experience with AI-assisted development tools including GitHub Copilot.
