This role is for one of Weekday’s clients Salary range: Rs 300000 - Rs 800000 (ie INR 3 - 8 LPA)

Software Engineer QA with strong expertise in the Printer domain to validate printer firmware, drivers, scanning, printing, fax, and Smart application functionalities. The ideal candidate should possess strong functional testing skills, test automation exposure, and experience working in Agile development environments.

Technical Skills:

  • Analyse product requirements and develop comprehensive test strategies and test plans.
  • Design, develop, review, and execute manual and automated test cases.
  • Validate printer functionalities including:
  • Print
  • Scan
  • Fax
  • Copy
  • Wireless Connectivity (Wi-Fi, Wi-Fi Direct)
  • USB & Network Printing
  • Mobile Printing (Smart, Air Print, Mopria)
  • Perform end-to-end validation across Windows, macOS, Android, and iOS platforms.
  • Execute regression, sanity, smoke, functional, integration, and system testing.
  • Log, track, prioritize, and verify defects using JIRA or similar defect management tools.
  • Collaborate closely with Developers, Product Owners, SQPMs, and cross-functional teams to resolve issues.
  • Perform root cause analysis and provide quality metrics and status reports.
  • Mentor junior engineers and review test artifacts.
  • Contribute to process improvements and test automation initiatives.
