Depending on the area of responsibility, professional experience and specialist background, the gross annual salary ranges from EUR 60.000,00 to EUR 100.000,00. The exact remuneration will be determined during the application process.

Your mission

  • Modification of existing COTS flight control computer hardware and software
  • Manage flight control computer ICD and design documentation
  • Development of custom software interfaces for test and flight hardware
  • Integration of custom control algorithms
  • Definition of regulatory and functional requirements for flight control hardware and software
  • Support of avionics hardware and software procurement
  • Support and Setup of SITL and HITL testing
  • Flight test support for scale demonstrators

Your profile

  • Successfully completed aerospace or software engineering degree (M.Sc., M.Eng., B.Sc., B.Eng.)
  • Programming skills (Python, C/C++, JavaScript)
  • Basic knowledge of bus communication protocols (CAN, RS485, ARINC)
  • Experience in aerospace related projects advantageous 
  • Work experience in a start-up environment is an advantage
  • Proactive thinking, high level of motivation, flexibility, and team-working skills
  • Proficiency in both German and English
