Job Description

Who we are looking for

We are looking for a Senior Global Operations Specialist reporting directly to Officer + (people manager). You will be responsible for creating and reviewing new assets according to multiple vendors, client instructions or feed monitoring.

Why this role is important to us

The team you will be joining is a part of Reference Data Management within Data Operations, a function that is vital to the company as you will be responsible for securities setup and maintenance and communication with the client service teams, various departments within State Street and external business partners.

What you will be responsible for

RESPONSIBILITIES:

1. Respond to inquiries from clients, custodians, and brokers to ensure timely effective processing of requests (new security set-ups and security maintenance),

2. Interprets and validates security data transactions and incoming vendor information,

3. Performs quality control reviews,

4. Possess business understanding of external units and Industry standards,

5. Provides training and remains accessible as subject matter expert for the entire unit,

6. Provides exceptional customer service while collaborating with internal colleagues, external reference vendors, depositories and sub custodians,

7. Responsible for overseeing the daily import of incoming vendor feeds and alert receipts of delays,

8. Performs routine processing duties, as well as, semi complex or unique market data analytical tasks,

9. Understands the downstream risks associated with providing accurate and timely market data information,

10. Establish and maintain processes, procedures and service level standards.

11. Contribute in continuous improvement and transformation/simplification process.

12. Participate in any cross department’s initiatives aimed at improving Employee Engagement

Education & Preferred Qualifications

  • University degree in Data Management, Finance, Business or equivalent
  • Typically 2 + years of industry experience across Financial Services or Data fields
  • Knowledge of Bloomberg and/or other market data vendors (nice to have)
  • Knowledge of financial instruments from static data perspective (nice to have)
  • Good numerical and analytical abilities
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Good communication and English language skills (both written and verbal)
  • Working knowledge of software packages particularly Microsoft Excel (AI).

Additional requirements

Note: The role requires a minimum of three days per week working form the office

Work Requirement

  • Start working hours between 6:00-10:30
  • Location Krakow, Poland (BIG, Zielinskiego Street)

Minimum Salary:​

zł68,004 Annual

The minimum salary quoted above applies to the role in the primary location specified. If the candidate ultimately works outside of this primary location, the applicable minimum salary may differ.​

Salary will be determined based on factors such as the position, type of work performed, individual skills, job description, working hours, diligence, initiative, self-management, length of employment, availability, and the quantity and quality of work delivered, as well as other objective and non-discriminatory criteria relevant to State Street employees.​

In addition to salary, employees are eligible to be considered for discretionary annual performance-based awards.​
