Legato, LLC recruiters (Staffing@legatocorp.com) would love to speak with you regarding the following position: DevOps Engineer in Fort Meade, MD. Security Clearance Required: TS/SCI w/ Polygraph Salary Range: $210,000-$240,000, depending on experience. What You Will Do:

The DevOps Engineer will be responsible for system administration, maintenance, upgrades, installation, test, integration, and configuration of VLP/LF/MF/HF/VHF/UHF/Wireless SIGINT survey, collection and geo-location systems and software to include prototypes, development, operational testing, test, and labs systems and products. The candidate will occasionally be available for 24/7 call-in support. Willing to travel for information system installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting

Experience with: Performing network services from network design through implementation, maintenance, and upgrading of existing networks LAN/CAN/WAN administration Experience with both Arista and Cisco network devices Configuring and optimizing the network to connect various front-end and back-end components Designing solutions, integrating, configuring, deploying, testing and providing ongoing maintenance for numerous types of network devices Strong Linux (RHEL/CentOS) administration and troubleshooting. Proficiency in scripting languages like Python and Bash. Experience building and maintaining pipelines with tools like Jenkins or GitLab. Experience with infrastructure as code (IaC) using Ansible or Terraform.

Hands-on experience with Docker and Kubernetes for software deployment. Manage and configure Kubernetes clusters, ensuring high availability, scalability, and security.

Experience with management and monitoring of hybrid cloud/virtualized environments. 

Willing to travel for information system installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting.

 

Our minimum requirements for this role:

  • Experience performing network services from network design through implementation, maintenance, and upgrading of existing networks

  • Experience with both Arista and Cisco network devices

  • Designing solutions, integrating, configuring, deploying, testing and providing ongoing maintenance for numerous types of network devices
  • Strong Linux (RHEL/CentOS) administration and troubleshooting. Proficiency in scripting languages like Python and Bash.
  • Experience building and maintaining pipelines with tools like Jenkins or GitLab.

  • Twelve (12) years of experience with software and system deployments, Linux system admin, containerization, cloud deployments, DevSecOps
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering , or a related technical discipline from an accredited college or university. Four (4) additional years of Software Engineering experience may be substituted for a bachelor's degree.
