Position Summary
The New Business Solutions Analyst partners closely with Sales and cross-functional Deal Team colleagues to understand prospect needs, normalize and interpret available transportation and order data, and translate those insights into comprehensive multimode transportation management solutions. This role applies a strong understanding of eShipping’s capabilities, transportation industry dynamics, prospect data, and solution-design best practices to identify opportunities, quantify value, visualize findings, and help position eShipping to win new business. The New Business Solutions Analyst leads assigned opportunities from discovery through solution development and supports the deal lifecycle from Initiate to Implement, by building insights, models, dashboards, and recommendations that connect prospect pain points to practical, scalable eShipping solutions.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Duties include but are not limited to the following:
- Build, design, analyze, and interpret data models, Power BI dashboards, and other analytical outputs that support new business discovery, solution development, value quantification, and deal strategy.
- Partner with Sales and Deal Team colleagues during prospect discovery to understand business requirements, decision criteria, operational constraints, service expectations, and the transportation or order data available for analysis.
- Analyze carrier strategies, transportation modes, service requirements, network characteristics, and shipment profiles across LTL, truckload, parcel, international, warehousing, and related services to identify practical solution opportunities for prospects.
- Lead assigned new business solution workstreams by translating prospect needs and data insights into recommendations, visuals, and solution narratives that help Sales communicate eShipping’s value proposition and advance opportunities through the pipeline.
- Support the transition from Initiate to Implement by documenting solution assumptions, analytical findings, scope considerations, and implementation handoff details for awarded opportunities.
- Use Excel, Power BI, data normalization methods, visualization tools, and agentic models to evaluate prospect data, identify trends and exceptions, accelerate analysis, and produce clear, decision-ready outputs for internal and customer-facing audiences.
- Assist the Sales Team with new business solution activities, including data requests, discovery preparation, opportunity assessment, solution modeling, customer-facing visuals, and value-story development.
- Develop and maintain dashboards, reports, and analytical views that support deal strategy, prospect evaluation, solution development, and internal pipeline visibility.

- Ability to lead assigned deal workstreams independently, manage competing deadlines, and know when to escalate risks, assumptions, or solution tradeoffs to Sales, Solutions leadership, or other Deal Team stakeholders.
- Ability to effectively interact with Sales, Solutions, Account Management, Operations, Pricing, Implementation, Executive teams, and other internal stakeholders involved in new business solution development.
- Excellent customer service, time management, and prioritization skills
- Strong oral, written, and visual communication skills, with the ability to explain complex transportation opportunities, analytical assumptions, and recommended solutions in a clear and compelling way for internal teams and prospect stakeholders.
- Ability to understand, interpret, and explain complex transportation data, pricing inputs, service requirements, operational constraints, and solution tradeoffs, then respond with appropriate recommendations.
- Able to utilize sound, independent judgment and make responsible decisions and recommendations

- Ability to work with a variety of people and personality types
- Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and Power BI, with the ability to normalize imperfect data, build repeatable analytical models, develop clear visuals, and use AI-enabled or agentic tools responsibly to improve speed, quality, and insight development.
Minimum Education and Experience
- Applicable experience in transportation, logistics, supply chain, business analytics, solution design, pricing, sales engineering, or a related analytical role.
- High school diploma or equivalent required; bachelor’s degree in supply chain, logistics, business, data analytics, finance, engineering, or a related field preferred.
