Application Support Engineer

Act as software detectives, provide a dynamic service identifying and solving issues within multiple components of critical business systems.

Summary: As an Application Support Engineer, you will spend your day investigating and resolving issues across various components of essential business systems. Your role involves continuous monitoring, troubleshooting, and collaborating with different teams to ensure smooth operation and minimal disruption. You will engage in detailed analysis to identify root causes and implement effective solutions, contributing to the overall stability and performance of the systems.

Roles & Responsibilities: - Expected to perform independently and become an SME. - Required active participation/contribution in team discussions. - Contribute in providing solutions to work related problems. - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather information and provide timely updates on issue resolution. - Document findings and solutions clearly to support knowledge sharing and future reference. - Assist in the development and improvement of support processes and tools to enhance efficiency. - Monitor system performance and proactively identify potential issues before they impact business operations.

Professional & Technical Skills: - Required Skill: Expert proficiency in SAP BusinessObjects Data Services. - Strong understanding of data integration and transformation processes within enterprise environments. - Experience with troubleshooting and resolving complex data service issues. - Familiarity with data quality management and error handling techniques. - Ability to analyze system logs and performance metrics to diagnose problems. - Excellent communication skills to effectively collaborate with technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Additional Information: - The candidate should have minimum 2 years of experience in SAP BusinessObjects Data Services. - This position is based at our Manila office.
