Deputy Project Manager

Evoke is seeking a Deputy Project Manager to join our team! This position is located on the United States Marine Corps base in Quantico, Virginia. The candidate will work on site with Evoke contractors, Marines, and government civilian employees overseeing the Service Treatment Records of Marines who have separated from the Marine Corps. Completed Medical Records are submitted to the Department of Veterans Affairs and used to determine the former Marines eligibility for disability benefits. This work is vital for a separated Marines transition from military to civilian life.
Responsibilities:
- Provide operational support to the Project Manager and USMC STRCC team asrequired.
- Identify Project and process risks and issues to the Project Manager and opportunities to improve STR processes.

- Assist PM to ensure that team members stay on task and meet STR goals.
- Be prepared to answer the help desk phone and provide customer service support as needed, ensuring professional and helpful experience for all inquiries.
- Provide reports and updates to the COR and government personnel whenrequiredas well as in the absence of the Project Manager.
- Attend meetings and take notes whenappropriateand report anyimportant informationto the PM and government staff.
- Provide training and support for team members in the STR Registry.
- Collaborate with team members to improve individual and group production metrics, assist in achieving goals, ensure correct box pulls, and maintain quality standards. Report on performance concerns orrecurring.
- Ensure that Personally Identifiable Information (PII) and/or Confidential, Unclassified Information (CUI) remains protected
Professional Experience and Skills:
- MINIMUM two (2) years’ general work experience
- MUST be able to lift and move boxes of up to 60lbs
- Familiarity with the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA)
- Strong interpersonal, communication, organizational, time management skills REQUIRED• Ability to work individually and in a team environment
- Ability to prioritize tasks
- REQUIRES proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (incl. SharePoint) and Adobe Acrobat
- Strong attention to detail
- Willingness to learn new skills to meet the demand of the client
- Lean Six Sigma, Green Belt -- desired
Education and Year of Experience:
- Associates degree• May be substituted with two (2) additional years’ experience (four [4] years TOTAL)
Security Clearance:
- MUST be eligible to work in the United States, subject to a government security investigation, and meet eligibility requirements to access protected information
Work Location
- This position is REQUIRED to report on-site (Quantico, VA) five (5) days/week.
