Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 5 years of experience in product management or a related technical role.
  • 2 years of experience taking technical products from conception to launch (e.g., ideation to execution, end-to-end, 0 to 1, etc.).
  • Experience integrating generative AI tools or Large Language Model (LLM) interfaces into workflows.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Master's degree in a technology or business related field.
  • 3 years of experience in a role preparing and delivering technical presentations to executive leadership.
  • Experience working on consumer-facing UI products that operate at scale, with a strong emphasis on mobile app experiences (iOS/Android).
  • Experience working with GenAI and ML technologies and how they can be applied to creative user problems.
  • Experience using data and analytics to drive product growth and optimize user engagement metrics.
  • Ability to work effectively in a complex organizational setup, collaborating with teams across different time zones and geographies.

In this role, your role is to capture this opportunity to deliver the next generation of the Memories experience. You will build a system that understands what's in each user's library and the context of what's going on in their life, and adapts to deliver the right moments at the right time, in formats that are fresh and engaging for that user.

Google Photos is a photo sharing and storage service developed by Google. Photos is one of the most sought after products at Google and is looking for both client-side (web and mobile), with server-side (search, storage, serving) and machine intelligence (learning, computer vision) Software Engineers. We are dedicated to making Google experiences centered around the user.

Responsibilities:

  • Work with partner teams (e.g., Engineers, Program Managers (PgMs), UX) during product design and development to implement the requirements to turn PRDs into OKRs for one or more teams. Drive launches, maintenance, and retirement in collaboration with other cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
  • Set the vision, goals, strategy, and roadmap for your workstreams, and align cross-functional and cross-product area stakeholders.
  • Partner with UX Researcher (UXR) to drive user research to surface insights and validate product concepts, and with UX to design delightful experiences. Develop clear and thorough product requirements to drive engineering designs.
  • Execute your roadmap with engineering and cross-functional/cross-product teams to build, test, launch, and land product features to achieve your goals.
  • Define and track key metrics, analyze market and product data, and utilize experimentation to make data-driven decisions toward your goal.
