- Lead and influence the evolution of enterprise network services supporting a complex global logistics organisation.
- Collaborate with regional and global teams across Product, Architecture, Cyber Security, Service Management, and Operations.
- Develop your leadership capabilities while coaching and growing a team of network engineering professionals.
- Contribute to standardisation, automation, service reliability, and continuous improvement initiatives across the network estate.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and develop a team of Network Engineers and Senior Network Engineers, setting priorities, objectives, and performance expectations.
- Manage operational demand across incidents, service requests, problem investigations, and planned changes while balancing engineering delivery commitments.
- Oversee the delivery, operation, and continuous improvement of LAN, WAN, SD-WAN, and NFV services across regional sites.
- Coordinate technical escalations and major incident responses, ensuring effective collaboration with internal stakeholders, vendors, and delivery partners.
- Drive lifecycle management, technical debt reduction, automation initiatives, service standardisation, and reliability improvements.
- Partner with Product, Architecture, and Cyber Security teams to ensure alignment with global standards, reference architectures, and security controls.
- Manage regional network risks, capacity, resilience, performance, and supplier relationships while providing visibility of delivery progress and operational outcomes.
What We Are Looking For:

- Demonstrated experience leading network engineering teams within a large enterprise, service provider, systems integrator, or managed services environment.
- Strong technical understanding of enterprise LAN, WLAN, WAN, and SD-WAN technologies, including routing, switching, segmentation, resilience, security, and high availability.
- Experience delivering and operating network services across geographically distributed sites such as offices, warehouses, terminals, manufacturing facilities, or other operational environments.
- Knowledge of SD-WAN platforms such as Cisco Catalyst SD-WAN, Cisco Meraki, or Fortinet Secure SD-WAN, alongside practical understanding of network security principles and segmentation.
- Experience managing major incidents, technical escalations, root cause investigations, corrective action plans, and service improvement programmes.
- Strong stakeholder management, communication, people leadership, coaching, workforce planning, and vendor management capabilities.
- Familiarity with network automation, APIs, Python, Ansible, Infrastructure as Code, observability, SASE/SSE, cloud networking, Agile delivery, and ITIL practices is advantageous.
- Relevant professional certifications such as Cisco CCNP Enterprise, Cisco or Fortinet SD-WAN certifications, HPE Aruba, Juniper, or equivalent are desirable.
