Launch Business Analyst - Biotech About the profile

About MIGx MIGx is a global consulting company with an exclusive focus on the healthcare and life science industries, with their particularly demanding requirements on quality and regulatory aspects. We have been managing challenges and solving problems for our clients in the areas of compliance, business processes and many others.    MIGx interdisciplinary teams from Switzerland, Spain and Georgia have been taking care of projects in the fields of M&A, Integration, Application, Data Platforms, Processes, IT management, Digital transformation, Managed services and compliance.    Project Description Our company is rapidly growing and now we are looking for a Launch Business Analyst - Biotech. A Business Analyst who knows how a biotech launches. You will define what Medical and Commercial teams need to do a launch - and translate it into requirements for the various systems from Vault CRM to the analytics platform. Understanding of the Vault platform matters; deep technical configuration skills do not.

Responsibilities

Launch readiness• Work with Medical and Commercial leads to define launch-critical capabilities and readiness milestones.

  • Separate must-have-for-launch scope from post-launch enhancements, and track dependencies and risks to go-live.
  • Fit processes to a lean biotech operating model: small teams, broad roles, fast decisions, partner and vendor reliance.

Medical Information• Map inquiry intake, triage, response and escalation, including handover of adverse event and product complaint signals.

  • Define requirements for inquiry handling and standard response content in Vault.

Promotional materials review & approval• Map the PRC/MLR review and approval process: roles, review cycles, claims referencing, expiry and withdrawal.

  • Define requirements for the review workflow and for making approved content available to the field in Vault CRM.

Commercial excellence & sales force effectiveness• Analyse targeting, segmentation, territory alignment, call planning and call reporting for the launch field force.

  • Specify Vault CRM requirements for account management, approved email, content delivery and activity tracking.
  • Define launch KPIs and the reporting needed to track field performance.

Field Medical• Map MSL activities: HCP and KOL engagement, scientific exchange and medical insights capture.

  • Define Vault CRM (Medical) requirements that keep medical and promotional activity compliantly separate.

Delivery to go-live• Write user stories and acceptance criteria that stay close to Vault standard capabilities.

  • Support backlog refinement, UAT and release readiness for launch go-liv

Requirements - Must have

  • Typically 3-5 years as a Business Analyst, commercial/medical operations specialist or consultant in pharma or biotech.
  • Hands-on experience supporting at least one launch or launch-readiness programme.
  • Knowledge of the biotech operating model and how it differs from large pharma.
  • Working understanding of Medical Information, promotional review and approval, commercial excellence/SFE and Field Medical processes.
  • Functional understanding of Veeva Vault CRM and the Vault platform.
  • Awareness of the compliance boundaries between medical and promotional activity.
  • Strong requirements, process-mapping and workshop skills; fluent English (B2+ or above).

Requirements - Nice to have

  • Vault CRM implementation or migration experience; Vault PromoMats or MedComms process design.
  • Neuroscience or specialty-care launch experience, or familiarity with US commercial models.

What success looks like:• Launch-critical Medical and Commercial capabilities are specified, accepted and live on time.

  • Requirements are testable and traceable, with little rework in build and UAT.
  • Vault solutions stay close to standard, and medical/promotional boundaries are built in correctly.

Seniority Level

English B2+ What we offer

  • Hybrid work model (mix of remote and on-site in Barcelona office) and flexible working schedule that would suit night owls and early birds.
  • Excellent compensation package
  • Attractive social benefits package
  • Possibilities of career development and the opportunity to shape the company future
  • An employee-centric culture directly inspired by employee feedback - your voice is heard, and your perspective encouraged
